0.016mF - 0.019mF Out of Spec Clearance: Single Di-Film .022mF Black Beauty Capacitor

One (1) Luxe 0.016uF to 0.019uF Black Beauty Capacitor.

We have a limited supply of Black Beauty rejects from the past 20 years of production. These are fully functional caps but they are out of spec, reading anywhere between .0165mF and .0190mF. Some read low from under-winding, and some from misalignment of the foil plates. They will function the same as our in-spec caps, but the lower numbers will generate a brighter tone.

Like all of our guitar tone caps, these are made only for guitars, and not meant for use in an amplifier, or other high voltage circuit. They leak voltage, which is a nice part of the warm tone they give your guitar, but not so nice as a filter cap.

These caps are fully finished: buffed, polished and marked, and will ship complete with yellow spaghetti tubing insulation on each lead.

These are brand new, made in the U.S.A. in the Luxe Radio workshop, to Vintage Specs.

Each cap is hand wound on an original Vintage Winding Machine using exact vintage spec aluminum foil and paper film. They're hand soldered, hand cast in oven-proof thermoplastic, and hand-marked with an old fashioned cylindrical marking letterpress.

These parts are fresh from the time machine and authentic inside AND out.
